Nancy Morvant Roach passed away November 7, 2021 at the age of 80. She was born in Labadieville, LA, residing in Luling, LA up until 1990. She then retired from First National Bank of Commerce after many years of service, where she managed the computer processing department. From there she moved and resided in Tucker, GA for 31 years. Nancy is survived by her husband of 31 years, John W Roach III, and her daughter Victoria M Bonvillain (Rene). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tiffany Bonvillain, Rene Bonvillain II, Bethany Bonvillain and Brooke Bonvillain; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Neveah, Aubrey and Levi, as well as her sister Janice M Lancaster (Terry), her brother David C Morvant and a host of godchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis Morvant and Helen Daigle Morvant as well as her sister Brenda M Mitchell.
Nancy was a social butterfly who was involved with many things in her family. She was an avid reader (her favorite author being Danielle Steele), she enjoyed sewing/crocheting, going to book club and she NEVER missed attending The Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain Park. Her favorite sports team of all time was the Atlanta Braves who gave her another World Series before she passed away. Nancy will be remembered as a loving, encouraging, sassy and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service being held for Nancy at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Memory Garden (3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084) on Thursday, November 18th at 11:00am with a blessing in the Tranquility Garden to follow.
