Kimberly was born December 4, 1972, in Atlanta and spent the majority of her life living in the city she loved. Kimberly graduated from Dekalb Christian Academy in 1990, attended Samford University, and completed her degree in marketing at Georgia State University.
Kimberly was a member of Peachtree Baptist Church. Kimberly worked in the medical industry for the majority of her career, working for Personal Care Physicians of Atlanta until the time of her illness.
Kimberly married Brian Wynne in 1997, welcoming son William, the joy of her life, in 1999.
Kimberly was an avid Atlanta sports fan, but none rivaled her love for Georgia Tech. Kimberly enjoyed watching Georgia Tech play and the fellowship of her Tech friends. Nothing made her more proud than when William was accepted to Georgia Tech.
Kimberly loved Pooh Bear, the beach, good home cooking, Mimi’s cookies, spending time with family and friends, and her treasured dogs. Kimberly had a wicked sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and kindness for others and brought much love, happiness, and laughter to those around her.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Weathers Wynne, and her grandparents Bill and Helen Gordon. She is survived by her son William Gordon Wynne of Atlanta, her parents Walt and Pam Mott of Tucker, her uncle, Bill (EB) Gordon of Atlanta, her sister Natalie (Dominic) D’Angelo of Seattle, WA, nieces Danielle and Bella D’Angelo of Seattle, WA and brother Douglas (Heidi) Mott of Seattle, WA. Her partner Forrest Myers. Her family friends Bonnie and Norman Nichols of Acworth and Miriam Boland of Atlanta. Kimberly is also survived by her mother-in-law, Julia Wynne of Atlanta, sister-in-law Dorothy(Nancy Walla) Wynne, Spotsylvania, VA, brother in laws, Charles (Dancy) Wynne of Gainesville, and Don (Kelley) Wynne of Brentwood, TN. Nieces Julie (Bryan) Jones, Sara (Jacob ) Billingsley, and Elizabeth Wynne, nephew Stephen Wynne, and great-nephews Wynne, Thomas, Reid, Hoyt, and Charlie.
Visitation will be Saturday morning September 17,10:00 am at Peachtree Baptist Church, 2108 Briarcliff Rd NE 3rd floor, Atlanta, GA 30329, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am. Dr. Daniel Vestal will officiate her service.
