Jesse Michael Hadaway, age 73, died of natural causes on November 10, 2018 at his home in Snellville, Georgia. He is survived by his wife, Linda Lanier Hadaway, his sister, Jeane Enten, his daughters Leanne Prybylski (Kevin), Jessica Ivey and Katherine Escobar (Carlos), and his six grandchildren Christopher, Eric, Ashlyn, Emily, Camila and Miguel and two nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Bessie Hadaway, and his brother John Hadaway.
Jesse was born on September 12, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents John Hoyt Hadaway, Sr. and Bessie Mae Snead. He graduated from Tucker High School in 1963 and graduated from Atlanta Law School in 1966 with a Bachelor of Laws. He served in the U.S. Army and went on to start his own business, National Recovery Service in 1979.
Jesse’s loved ones will remember his love for rock and roll music, cooking BBQ, his passion for restoring old trucks and his enthusiasm for college football. Go Dawgs!
Arrangements have been entrusted to Floral Hills Funeral Home in Tucker, GA. Visitation is scheduled on Friday, November 16 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and the funeral is scheduled for Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Jesse’s life. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to Gwinnett Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #66, Cops n' Kids Program.
