Beverly Ann Cash, 94, of Tucker, GA passed away April 28, 2023. Beverly was born in Battlecreak, Michigan to the late Monroe H. Burtnett and Lula Mae Dorn. She was raised by her grandfather and grandmother in Owensboro, Kentucky where she went to Catholic school.
She was a very religious person and said when she was 6 years old she talked to the Virgin Mary whom she loved with a passion as she did our lord. She was the original founder of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Tucker beginning back in 1955.
She loved Tennis, Cards, swimming, snow skiing, water skiing, the beach and was considered a very good artist painting many pictures for her sons and grandchildren.
She survived her husband of 72 years, Douglas Stevens Cash, he was a wonderful husband and father. She adored Doug. She was the mother of 6 boys, Steven, Charles, Lee, Mike, David and Danny. She is preceded in death by her sons, Lee and David.
A memorial mass for Beverly will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross catholic Church, 3773 Chamblee Tucker Rd, Atlanta, GA 30341.
