Tricia Fern Blackmore

Tricia F. Blackmore, age 87 of Traverse City, passed away on August 25, 2015. Loving wife of the late William Cook. Cherished mom of Rodney F. Harrand, Barry L. Harrand, Leonard A. (Tammy) Harrand and Alan R. (Vicki) Lardie. Der grandma “Duck” of Holly (Doug) Gallagher, Wesley (Lindsey Lampton) Harrand, Justin Lardie, Nicole Lardie, Sean Harrand and Jesse Harrand. Great grandma of 5. Sister of Ervan L. Amidon, Lt.Col. Ret. USAF, Tina Wagner and the late Carl, Leonard, Arthur and Clifford Amidon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tricia retired after working 30+ years as a LPAN supervisor at the Traverse City State Hospital. She enjoyed travelling, waterskiing, bowling, fishing cooking and meeting new people. She never missed an opportunity to host a party for her friends and family, or offer a helping hand to those in need. Tricia had endless love and pride for her family, especially her prized grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015; 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, also in Traverse City. Memorial contributions made to the Father Fred Foundation are greatly appreciated.
