Ron worked with the Young Marines of Traverse City for over 30 years and loved every minute of it.
He retired from Cherryland Electric Cooperative in 2007 and continued to find his way around the area by the numbers on the Cherryland poles.
Since his retirement he had spent his winters in sunny Florida and summers in sunny Traverse City, where he enjoyed dancing, gardening, spending time with his family and driving his beloved one-owner ‘66 Chevy Supersport convertible.
There will be a funeral Mass held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Acme on Friday, July 25, at 10 a.m., with a celebration of his life at his and Linda’s home at 3763 Wemple Road, following the Mass.
