Patricia F. Henry

Age 63 of Williamsburg, died April 29, 2011. She was born September 6, 1947 in Detroit to Robert and Eileen Coyle. She was a Traverse City area resident since 1983 and married Dan Skurski June 17, 2000 in Williamsburg. Pat loved gardening and canning vegetables in the fall with her husband and was the center of many happy holiday celebrations. Each summer she looked forward to traveling, camping, fishing and spending time with family & friends. Dan’s love and devotion to Pat, and his sense of humor will forever inspire us all and Pat’s pride and happiness in her family will forever remind them of her special love and of her aspiration to “live the life you dream”

Pat will be remembered as someone whose patience, open-heartedness and caring helped her to be a loving listener. Her advice was always thoughtful and sensitive. She will be missed, especially in the springtime when we will remember her love of tulips and daffodils and in the fall when the colors of the trees begin to change.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011 – 10:00 a.m. at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City. Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 289 in Williamsburg.
