A loving husband and father, he is remembered for his kindness, humor and generosity, and is very much missed by his wife Rose, his children Jason and Alex, and his sisters and their husbands Kathy and Pete, Carol and Tom.
He will be deeply missed by his close friends and from the many segments of a long and productive life: his Beta Theta Pi fraternity brothers, barbershop music enthusiasts and the many friends he made over his long career in aerospace industry and in his post-career real estate days.
Robert was a Vietnam War veteran, where he was awarded a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
A funeral service for Robert will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Halverson-Stone & Myers Mortuary, 1223 Cravens Ave, Torrance, CA 90501.
A military committal ceremony will occur Monday, September 23, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Los Angeles National Cemetery, 950 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90049.
