Ralph Steven Turner was born October 27, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. His parents are Ralph J. Turner and the late Helen R. (Smith) Thompson. Steve graduated from Gardena High School. He moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he earned his certification in Auto Mechanics. Upon his return to Los Angeles, he became a loving and dedicated father to Steven Kenshaun, Denika Marjorie, and Jemari Amear. Steve always had a passion for “fixing things” which led him to pursue a career as an Independent Residential Contractor.
Steve is survived by his father, Ralph Turner of Atlanta, Georgia; his children; and seven siblings: Carol Hopkins and Christopher Turner of Los Angeles and Gardena, California, Sylvia Davis of Vancouver, Washington, Johnny Davis of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jacqueline Andress of Fort Worth, Texas, Cheryl Marshall of Houston, Texas and Chris Thompson of Suffolk, Virginia. Steve was also blessed to be a grandfather of four beautiful grandchildren: Amiya Safay Turner, Nevaeh Marie Turner, Jordyn Lee Patterson and Naylani Noelle Turner. He will be dearly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and associates.
The family of Ralph Steven Turner wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation all the many comforting words, visits, messages, calls, prayers, and other expressions of kindness, love, and concern. We also extend appreciation to Pastor Ray and Mr. Owens for their words of comfort and coordination. I am sure Stevie is looking down with a big grin on his face and a tear in his eye. May God bless you and your families.
