Jeffrey Francis Miller passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 62. Born as one of a set of triplets on August 30, 1961, in Hawthorne, California, to Joe and Lucille Miller, Jeff carved a life that epitomized the "work hard, play hard" ethos he cherished.
A devoted father, Jeff was immensely proud of his son, Zachary, seeing him through high school and college graduations and into a successful adulthood. Jeff's career spanned decades as a respected Superintendent at Ironworkers Local 433. His legacy includes towering structures and one-of-a-kind buildings across the nation, standing as a testament to his skill and dedication.
Despite a diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure at 47, Jeff battled valiantly against the odds, driven by his goals to witness his son's milestones. A heartfelt thank you is extended to Dr. Matthew Ostrom, Jeff's Cardiologist, and the caring staff at Torrance Memorial Hospital, whose dedication helped him exceed his life expectations.
Jeff's generous spirit continues through his organ donations. He leaves behind a family that includes his son Zachary; siblings Lisa Miller-Diaz (Patrick), Joe Miller (Debbie), and Judy Roberts; nieces and nephews Rachel Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Rilee Roberts, Brian Woodward (Tanya), Michelle Yniguez (Michael), and their families. He is predeceased by his parents, Joe and Lucille Miller.
We invite those who knew Jeff to reflect on his enduring influence and the indelible marks he left, both in the skyline and in our hearts.
