Earl William Westergaard

Earl Westergaard was born to Floyd and Sophie Thompson near Clarkfield, Minnesota. He was adopted by William and Ruby (Peterson) Westergaard. Earl graduated from Butterfield High School in 1952, and enlisted in the Air Force October 20th, 1952. He took his basic training at Parks Air Force Base in California and to took technical training at Lowry Field, Colorado. On June 18th, 1976 he received an Associates in Art degree from Santa Ana College.

He married June H, in June of 1955 and together they had four children. He went onto sell insurance. In June of 1975, Earl married Patricia S., and together they raised five children. In 1981, he started his own company, Pride Pest Control. He ran the company with his son Matt until his retirement.

In his earlier years, Earl enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He always enjoyed watching baseball, football, basketball and attending sporting events. In his later years, he loved to go rv'ing and spending time with his camping clubs.

Earl is survived by his children, Mike, Mitch, Mark, Matt, Chris, Melanie, Daniel, Nicole and Danielle; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael Lee, Rachel, Kelsey, Trevor, Carly, Jenna, Chris Jr., Andrew, Jacob, Stephanie, Christian, Hayden, Evan, Noah, Aria, Matthew, Makenzie, and Benjamin; great grandchildren, Kylie, Dexter, Atticus, Nixon, Kevin, Brandon, Bella, Ethyn, and Giovanni: and brother Bobby Thompson.

Earl was proceeded in death by his birth parents, adoptive parents, former wife June and his wife Patricia, siblings, Adeline Lamb, Stanley Thompson, Virgil Thompson, Vern Thompson and Roselyn Ellingson.
