A 34 year resident of Torrance died peacefully at home with his wife, family and friends by his side on March 25, 20ll at the age of 62. Born August 7, 1948 in Los Angeles to the late Ann and Bruce K. Fisher Sr. Bruce was the devoted and loving husband, soul mate and best friend to Bobbye for nearly 40 years. He was the former owner of Fisher Cabinets in Lomita. He was known and admired as an amazing craftsman with a gift from nature for his workmanship. He had many interests including his passion for classic muscle cars, building model trains, photography and had an impressive collection of license plates. He had a wonderful wit and sense of humor and loved making people laugh. People often commented about his “boyish charm”. He is survived by his wife Bobbye, sister-in-law Sue Weinstein, niece Bethany Jarvis, and nephew Randy Rentsch in addition to several great nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins.
A Memorial Service and reception will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 12:00 noon at Halverson, Stone and Myers Mortuary, 1223 Cravens Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501. 310-328-1223.
