Ralph Paterson John

It is with heavy hearts that we share with you that our dear father, Ralph Paterson John (nicknamed Plait Toe) passed away peacefully on June 8, 2024 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. He was born in Mamma Cannes, St. Andrew, Grenada on September 8, 1948. He is survived by his children Cathian (Kevin) Fields, Nigel (Doreen) John, Florence (Timothy) Jeffrey, Stephen (Leticia) Clarke and Anastasia (Manuel) John-Sandy; his grandchildren Naje, Tyje, Raje, Azaviar, Aterah, Sheria, Suriah, Nigel Jr, Jerome, Sarah, Oscar, Nova and Vega; his great grandchildren Reign & Ace; his siblings Marsley (Molly) John, Justin McIntosh, Randolph Myers, Darlington (Janice) McIntosh, Joyce (John) Quamina, Wilma Eugenia John Smith, Sheila Deriggs, Chris John, Alice (Alister) Campbell and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joshua and Anastasia John; his brothers Martin John, Alex John, Fitzroy McIntosh, Kipling McIntosh and sister Enis Alexander.

Ralph will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His wittiness, laughter, style, and kindness will continue to inspire and bring joy to those who remember him.

A visitation for Ralph will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes. Reception to follow at Twilight Family Restaurant

55 Nugget Ave, Scarborough, ON M1S 4A4 from 3pm -5pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ralph's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
