Pearl Lim

(1930 –2022)

At the age of 92, Pearl passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Mississauga, Ontario surrounded by her loving family. Born January 6, 1930 in Taishan, China, Guangdong Province, she was the eldest of nine siblings to Chiu Sze Ng and Bik Ha Lui.

She immigrated to the Canada in 1958 where she married Frank Lim.

Pearl was an avid cook and a lover of Chinese cuisine. Devoted mother to her five children, she doted on her 12 grandchildren. Her legacy will live on through her family and every heart that she touched along the way.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lim, her parents, and her brothers; Yick Tze Eng, Cheuk Woon Eng, and Cheuk Sem Ng. She is survived by her five children; Harvey, Steven (Linda), Elizabeth (Ken), Keenan (Lucia), Nancy (John) and her 12 grandchildren; Stephanie, Naomi, Alexia, Jared, Justin, Adam, Samantha, Jonathan, Areti, Alexandra, Michelle, and Nicole. She is also survived by her sisters, Sun Mui Chow, Shuet Kum Mar, Shuet Fong Mak and Shuet Kuen Yang and her brother Cheuk Shui Eng.
