Patrick Winslow Saldanha

On August 17th, 2011 at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto at the age of 76 years. Patrick, loving husband of Merlyn, dear father of Michelle and Keith. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Mateo and Alanna. Friends my call at the JERRETT FUNERAL Home , 6191 Yonge Street., North York(2 lights south of Steeles), on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, August 22 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 75 Churchill Ave., North York. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Patrick Winslow Saldanha was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Patrick will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

Patrick was born on September 11, 1934 at Patrick was born in Bombay, India in Bombay, India. He was the son of Marcel and Christine. Patrick grew up in Bombay, India.

On October 17, 1964 Patrick exchanged wedding vows with Merlyn Saldanha at Bombay, India. Empathic and loyal, Patrick was committed to making his new family happy.

Patrick worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Patrick was blessed with two Children, one Daughter Michelle and one Son Keith. Another blessing for Patrick was the gift of three Grandchildren, Andrew, Mateo and Alanna.

Fortunately, Patrick enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Patrick worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. He was emp[loyed as Materials Control Officer with the Federal Government. Was employed with the Government of Canada for 19 years. Patrick always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.

Patrick enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite Hobbies was working out at the GYM six days a week, watching TV, Music, etc. He was a fun loving person . He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.

Simply stated, Patrick was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Patrick leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Patrick Winslow Saldanha.
