Patrick is now reunited with his beloved parents Tom and Alberta McMullan.
He was the loving husband of Patricia Naraine, beloved brother of Maureen McKay (Brad Thomson) and cherished uncle of Matthew.
Patrick enjoyed the simple things in life: spending time outdoors - either sunning himself on the beach in Thailand or Prince Edward Island, hiking in the woods or simply sitting on his back porch enjoying a coffee with his wife Trish and appreciating their beautiful backyard vegetable and flower garden. He wasn’t interested in material possessions or status, but most valued his family and friends and spending time with the people who meant the most to him.
Patrick made an impact on everyone who crossed his path. He was always willing to stop for a chat and help a neighbour. Anyone who was lucky enough to spend time with him always walked away with a smile on their faces. He treated everyone equally with respect and kindness. He always had a story to tell or a philosophy to share and his sense of humour brought laughter and life to any room he entered. He improved the lives of everyone he touched.
Patrick will be dearly missed, loved, and remembered by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Canada and in Ireland as well as his brothers from Phi Delta Theta. The world is a better place because he was here.
