

Dear Kerr, Kelly & Heidi.

I was shocked to hear today of Pat's passing and I wish to convey my condolences to you. I know this is such a difficult time for all of you and your families.  I just loved your mom.  At the family events, once we said "hi" it took about 10 seconds for us to be laughing at pretty much anything and that was the way it was every time.  I always looked at her and thought how pretty she was.  She definitely had a style and flair all her own.

My thoughts are with all of you at this time and I send each of you a hug.

We have just today learned of Pat's passing.  She was a terrific woman.  One of our favourites.  Pat's laugh was infectious and she was so easy to be around.  A great visitor and always made you feel like you were the only person in the room.   

Pat...you will be missed more than you know.  The void can't be filled.

"You are blocking the sidewalk" I said. "Walk on the South side of Queen St." she replied. Then, she would burst out laughing and frequently introduce me to the person she was chatting with. We have known Pat for about 50 years. We believe that she brightened every room that she was ever in. On Remembrance Day every year, Pat, Joe and Family were ever present, respectfully honouring those who served and their families. Unfortunately, we are out of town unable to attend Pat's funeral, but we extend our condolences, love and prayers to Joe, Kelly, Kerr, Heidi, and their families. Although she is gone, her spirit lives on in all who knew and loved her.

I am so sad to hear that Patsy has left us! I will miss her joyful personality and her singing as she moved about the courtyard at our condo complex. She was always concerned and empathetic when asking about my family each time we met.
Patsy and Joe have been living at our complex as long as I can remember and we now have lost one of our  Hammersmith family members. I shall miss her beautiful smile and fashionable attire. I shall miss her caring inquiries about myself and my family. May she rest in peace and bring joy to all she meets in heaven! We will miss her here on earth.

Our sincere condolences to the entire Boyd Family on the loss of Pat.
It was always such a pleasure to run into her on Queen Street where she always greeted us with a big smile.
The brief chats with her and my parents could last two minutes to 30 plus minutes or longer.  We will remember her smile, laugh and her kindness.

Thank you for welcoming me into the family some 40 years ago. 
You were always quick to laugh and we shared many a happy moment together.

You will never be forgotten, you have left the greatest legacy imaginable by raising your first born child Kelly to be the most thoughtful woman I know.
