Argos Orestikon, Kastoria
Macedonia, Greece
March 3,1935 – January 29, 2021
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Odysseas N. Koutlemanis, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren.
Son of Nicolaos and Thomai Koutlemanis (both deceased), of Argos Orestikon, Kastoria, Macedonia, Greece. Cherished father of Tammy (Randal), Helen, Nicolaos (Antonia) and Maria. Proud grandfather of Julien (Kaila), Tasha (Julian), Peter, Krystina (Anthony & Mia Elli), Elizabeth, Maria, Angelo, Elisa and two step-grandsons.
He was a hardworking businessman, (owner of Ulysses Furs) and a loving, devoted husband who adored his wife Elissavet (deceased) of 55 years, and now reunited with. You would always find them together smiling and holding hands. Their love of dancing could outlast the band playing his favourite song “Tora ta Poulia ,Tora ta Chelidonia”. They enjoyed trips to the Casino and dining out. Together they lead a very active social life. Always dressed to the nines, suit/tie/sweater and most important, his hat! A hat collection like no other. A very distinguished / sophisticated gentleman.
Patriotic to his heritage and instilled Greek traditions within his children and grandchildren that created a strong foundation in his family. He leaves us with a legacy of great storytelling. He used the knowledge and lessons gained throughout his life to teach us to believe in ourselves. He showed us the meaning of unconditional love and respect amongst each other. May his memories be eternal.
