Maureen passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in her 66th year. Loving daughter of the late Aileen and Patrick. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Creaney. Cherished sister of Colleen (Gerry), Elaine, Joan (Richard), Pat (Susan) and the late Ann (Walter). Predeceased by her brother-in-law Jack Creaney (Ann). Maureen will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Michael, Paul, Theresa, Beth, Tina, Richard, Lori, Sandra and the late Cathy and Angela and by her great-nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main St. subway), 416-698-3121, on Monday, February 18th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Canadian Martyrs' Church, 522 Plains Rd., (Woodbine Ave. and O'Connor Dr.) on Tuesday, February 19th at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by Maureen's family.
