Mary will be deeply missed by her children Bessie (Nick) and Pary (Ted), her grandchildren Sam (Stacey), Maxine (Spyros), Georgia (Jason), and James (Clayo), and her great-grandchildren Simona, Nicholas, Victoria, Theodore, Athena, and Sophia. She will be missed by a large extended family and friends.
She rejoins in eternity, her husband James and her parents Joseph and Paraskevi Zisis.
Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she loved spending time with her family.
She was often found in the kitchen cooking and baking. She was an avid gardener, growing beautiful flowers and vegetables. Mary was selflessly dedicated to caring for others, often cooking and bringing nourishment to friends and family when they needed support.
She was a long-time waitress within the family business, Good Bite Restaurant. She was dedicated to serving her customers as if they were her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Society.
A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto. Funeral mass will occur Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 3125 Bayview Ave, Toronto. A committal prayers follow at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto.
