LOGIE, Marion Frances (Hubbard) - Died gently on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014 at Christie Gardens at the age of 95. Widow of William A. Logie (2002). Predeceased by brother Alleyne Hubbard and survived by brother Frederick Hubbard (Lucy). Mother of Sylvia (Donald Roberts), Robert, deceased (Susan), Janet (Brian Wilson, deceased), Don (Peggy Dowdall-Logie), and Joyce (James Gordon). Grandmother of Robert, Heather (Crawford), Susannah (Roth), Erika, Rachel, Hillary (Best), Meredith (Dadson), Paul, Tom and Kathleen. Great grandmother of Anna, Maggie, Finn, Will, Reuben and Marin. Born in Burton, New Brunswick, proud of her UEL ancestry including a Father of Confederation, she was educated at University of New Brunswick (BA Math/Latin) where she met her husband, Bill. During the following three decades she raised 5 children in Montreal and Toronto while following her interest and love of meeting and helping others through her church and many other charities. She and Bill lived in Nigeria and travelled extensively throughout their 64 years together. She shared her love of reading and cryptic crossword puzzles with many, especially her family. Friends may visit the Trull Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (2704 Yonge Street – 5 blocks south of Lawrence Avenue) - 416-488-1101 for a memorial gathering on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. A memorial service will be held in the Trull Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 at 11:00 am followed by a reception. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
