So sorry to hear that your mum passed Brenda and Trish.

“You got this, girl.” I can’t count how many times I heard Marie say this to me. She was a kind, generous, gentle person with a heart of gold.  
In October, 2021 I had to stand in front of a camera with the building where her mother and my father died behind me, and I told her I didn’t think I could do it one more time. She got in a taxi and came just to stand behind the cameraman, and said “Just talk to me, and it will be ok.” -That’s the kind of person she was.
She fought so valiantly to affect change in long-term care. She was a calming presence with the heart of a lion.
Trish, Brenda and family, she spoke about you so often and with such pride.
She was one of a kind. She is so missed.

Marie, I can’t even begin to express how much you meant to me and how much you made me feel welcomed and loved.
I don’t think there a million words that can describe how absolutely blown away and in shock at everything. 

The girls through life gained a lot of strength through you and if there’s anything of this message that you can see or take from it know that. 

You will be truly missed and there will nothing but a million funny stories likely at your expense that people will re live! 

My arteries thank you for every Big M’s burger. 
My heart thanks you for every way that you were to me. And my life thanks you for raising the girls that you did! 

You were truly loved Marie and you will be deeply missed!

Marie you were such a kind and understanding soul. I will miss your stories, laughter and free spirit. You are back in your mothers arms, with your sister. You left behind a legacy of strong independent women. My deepest condolences to all your lovely women Trish, Brenda, Ashleigh, Breanna, Madison, Isabelle and Aaliyah, and Dave. Love you all big hugs. I don't even know where to start Marie .. You are now with your sister and mom again and the 3 of you can watch over all your girls . 
I just want to thank you Marie for giving me Trish as a best friend In high school starting in Grade 9 all the way through till the end of high school , I was part of your family back then , you were the coolest Mom On the planet !  I lived more at your place then I did my own .. 
Life is sure unfair at times and we don't understand it but up above has a different plan for you now ..

My goodness you were one strong women and such a loving person that cared so much about your family.  The girls (Brenda, Trish, Breanna and Ash) were so lucky to have you.  I am still in shock about it all.  You were like family to me.  Your strength, inspiration, adventure side, your soothing voice and more will be missed.  I recall our last conversation so well.  You were so happy that all of you were together.  I was so happy you all were too.  It made my soul happy to hear it when your face lit up with happiness.  This is a family that is so tight knit and nothing could ever break that.  My heart is and will always be with you and your girls.  I could not ask for such beautiful friends.  You are now flying with the angels and Granny.   We will meet again beautiful Marie. Love you always xoxo
