God called Marianna Mazzone home and reunited her with her beloved husband Rocco on September 22, 2022. Marianna was born on July 31, 1926 in Reggio, Calabria, Italy and passed away on September 22, 2022 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Loving mother of Salvatore (Mary) and cherished Nonna of Adriana (Nick) and Luciana (Vito). Beloved Bisnonna to Olivia, Lauren, and Luca. She will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of her family and friends in Italy and Canada.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 4pm-8pm.
The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Nicholas of Bari Church at 1127 St. Clair Ave. W. PLEASE NOTE: On the morning of the Mass, we would ask that all friends go directly to the church allowing the family some private time prior to the service.
Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W.
In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Marianna Mazzone be made to either to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto or to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend indoor funeral services, for those that feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so.
