She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Teresa, sisters, Wan-Yue, Estella and Ging-Yee, brothers, Wai (Wing-Shu) and Jack (Christine) and relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her sister Wai King, husband, Henry, and son, Paul.
She was born in Hong Kong and was the 5th child in the family, 4 older sisters and 2 younger brothers. She became a teacher teaching English after graduating from Teachers' College in Hong Kong. She also taught Chinese in Cambridge International Language School (Cambridge, Ontario) for 2 years. She loved knitting, listening to music, and was a bookworm. Most of all, she loved her family, her friends and her students. She often said her students were like her own children. She was a devoted Catholic and she loved our Lord and our Blessed Mother dearly.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, May 27th, at the Blessed Trinity Parish (3220 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, ON, M2M 3R7).
Visitation will be held at 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Friday, May 26th, at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes (6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M2M 4K4)
