April 10, 2023 at age 72.
Joe was born to Cesar and Francisca on September 25, 1950 in Cebu City, Philippines. He was a Policeman in the Philippines before migrate here in Toronto, Canada.
Joe and his wife, Asuncion Laurel get married on December 20, 1970 at Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral and went on have two children, Jonathan Laurel and Jesus Manuel Laurel. And four grandchildren’s, Dorothy Jean, Marie Francesca, Joseph Dave, and Angelo Zane.
He also served as School Crossing Guard for five (5) years and with an Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Toronto Police Service and the Community. He also served at Blessed John XIII church as Lay Minister.
