José Joaquim Cardoso was born on April 17, 1930 in Pontas Negras, Pico, Azores, Portugal and passed away on April 13, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 92 years.

He is the beloved husband of Celeste (nee DaSilva), loving father of Jose, Fernando (Pamela), Roger (Angela), Larry and cherished Avô of Rachel. José will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 3pm-7pm.

The Funeral Service will be held privately for the family only with cremation to follow. A Memorial Mass will be announced for José Joaquim Cardoso at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Memory of José Joaquim Cardoso may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.
