Peacefully on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 at Leisure World in her 79th year. Joanie, beloved wife of the late Arthur. Loving mother of Lorraine and her husband Henry Klein and the late Mikey. Dear sister of George, Marguerite, Marie, the late Herbie, Mike, Billy, Angus, Bernie, Hughie, James and Elizabeth. Dear Nanny to James and his wife Jessica and Serrece. Great-Nanny to Sheldon, William, little Serrece, Jessy and Sabastian. Joanie will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, friends and the Savoy families.

Friends and relatives will be received at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main Subway stn), 416-698-3121, for a visitation on Wednesday, May 7th, from 12 P.M. – 8 P.M. and on Thursday from Noon until time of service in the chapel at 3:00 P.M.
