I met Jason several years back during one of the many industry related meetings we both seemed to find ourselves attending. I found Jason to be an extremely pleasant, very honest, and very caring person. He definitely took his job seriously but not so that he forgot to have some fun doing it. And Jason always worked very hard to make sure that whatever he was working on at the time would reflect the views of the organization and industry he believed in. Jason diligently and honestly did this, and the whole time he did this it was done in a seemingly effortless way. Jason had a knack to always be very clear and concise, while always being honourable and with integrity. I really enjoyed the few times I spent with Jason talking and conversing about the various aspects of the industry, our lives, and our friends and families. I will certainly miss Jason. I will miss his smile, his cleverness, his truthfulness, and most of all his heartfelt ways. God bless Jason's family and loved ones during this emotional and difficult time.

My name is Sean Leonard and I had the pleasure of working with Jason for several years, often in person.  I would want the family to know that Jason was a standout man in our industry.  He was always great to work with and also great at getting things done.  I won't go on about his dedication and contributions and all that stuff, as I know you'll hear plenty of it from others.  I just wanted to say that he was a really great guy in a industry that is often too concerned with profit to allow you to be a really great guy.  The fact that he was so successful without compromising his values is nothing short of extraordinary.  He will be sorely missed by all of us that knew him.

To the Bourque Family:
I met Jason through our involvement with CIPH, CHC and sitting together on the CSA National Hydronics Code B214. His input from his many connections was very welcomed with our long drawn out debates and word smithing. He will sorely missed by our group. My thoughts are with you with his loss.

To Jason's family - I am a member of the CIPH-BC Region Executive Board and as such knew Jason as a hard working, dedicated program manager for CIPH.  We got to see Jason last November when he visited us to follow though with his work on our local tradeshow.  He was a very welcome guest - both from a work and a personal perspective.  
The plumbing industry is very saddened by this loss, which is being felt all across the country.  Our thoughts and prayers have been with Jason and his family for some time now, and even more so now.  He was simply too young.  Please take good care.

Words cannot express how sorry I am that you have to experience this in your lifetime. Those of us that can call Jason friend will miss his cheerfulness, kindness, great advice and his quirky laugh.
