Grace was born in Bombay, India, on February 1, 1922. She was an accomplished student and athlete who won many awards right until Spring 2016 when she was awarded top prize for her artwork at Bridgepoint at the age of 94! She left India for Canada in 1983 after she retired as a very respected and much-loved teacher at St. Joseph’s Convent, Bandra. Grace possessed an impressive intellect and memory until the end, and her innate grace, dignity and elegance impressed everyone. Her family and friends will always remember her strength, compassion and encouragement - to know Grace was to love her. Her unshakeable belief in God brought her peace throughout her life and especially in the time preceding her death.
The family is extremely appreciative of the professional and compassionate care received from her devoted caregiver Mary Joy, St. Michael’s Hospital (Dr. R. Wald; Dr. C. Holmes) and Bridgepoint Active Healthcare (Dr. J. Tepper). In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of these two healthcare facilities.
