I recently heard of George’s passing.  My sincere condolences to his family and friends.  Our family grew up on the same street as George and from a young age he was always so kind. May he Rest In Peace.  🙏

I just heard the sad news of George's passing. George and I grew up together back in our elementary schools days and spent countless hours playing hockey together in every place imaginable. The street, his family's home basement, which was perfect as it was unfinished and clean with concrete floors. Ice hockey at Greenwood and Monarch Parks, whenever we could . He even got me a dream job working at Maple Leaf Gardens. You'll be missed my friend and certainly not forgotten. RIP 



My deepest  condolences to your family at this time.  It is hard to accept his passing at such a young age.  I had the pleasure of working with him at MLSE  and Air Canada Centre.  He had  given many of the patrons  and  colleagues many fond memories. He really cared for others.  He will be truly missed.  Rest in peace George. 

I had the pleasure of working with George for over 20 years from our days at Maple Leaf Gardens and Air Canada Centre. He was very easy to get along with and had a great sense of humour. It's a shame to hear of his passing at such a young age. My Deepest condolences to the entire family. Rest easy my friend.


It was about 12 years ago George spent New Years Eve with many of Patrick's friends in Brampton.  
Georgie, Dave, Mary, Stuart and myself.
 We played games, danced, listened to music, chatted , had a fantastic meal and really enjoyed each others company.
He will be missed by all of us.

We have fond memories of George.  He was always friendly and cheerful.  He has been greatly missed since he left MLSE (due to his health) in 2015/16. Occasionally he would send us pictures from Richard and his days at Maple Leaf Gardens.
Thank you Clair for keeping us informed of George’s health.

George was my high school friend.  He had a distinctive laugh.  I remember us playing pool/snooker several times.  He was a good guy and will be missed.

I new George from working ay the air canada centre ,I was an usher and could see George was a genuine careing person. So sorry to hear that he is not with us anymore GOD BLESS  HIM...

I had the pleasure to work with George at both Maple Leaf Gardens and The Air Canada Centre. He would always go that extra mile to help those who needed it. George give them hell up there.  RIP my friend. Gone way to soon

I met George thought his sister and we would go to the casino and spend some evening at the house watching movies and in the summer having BBQ's. I have the braclets he made and they will be a reminder of our friendship for many years to come. I am happy to have met him. Very nice guy. He will be missed. 

I’m saddened to hear of George’s passing. I was an usherette at Maple Leaf Gardens and have lots of fun memories of working with George. 

I knew George from Maple Leaf Gardens and Air Canada Center.  He was always a very sweet guy and always took the time to message me hello and what he's been up to or going through.  He wore his heart on his sleve and was a very open person.  RIP George
