Frank E. Porter

Devoted WWII Veteran. Son of the late Frank and Lucy Porter. Beloved husband of Mona Vivian Porter. Cherished son-in-law of Cathrine Tombs (Finlay) and the late Hugh Finlay. Father of the late Darlene Scallen (Porter), Colleen Porter (Ben Dugas). Dearly loved grandfather to Shannon, Matthew, Nicolas, Adam and Danielle. Eldest brother of the late Stanley, Muriel, Ronald, Kenneth, Dennis, David, Gordon, Edward, Margaret (Maddeaux) and Violet-Anne. He is survived by his siblings Arnold, Harold, Irene (Pipke) and Philip. He will be missed by many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home "North York Chapel", 6191 Yonge St. (south of Steeles), on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment Highland Memory Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, CAMH or the Alzheimer Society.
