After Flo's children were born she became a full time mother and house wife. Over those years, she also day cared a number of children in her home.
When her children were grown, she worked in a number of day cares over the years as a cook. Where she would eventually replace their dull boring day care meals with home cooked meals and baking that the kids truly enjoyed.
Flo loved to crochet doilies and knit. She loved to sew, and was the family seamstress for her sisters if anything needed altering or hemming. She loved to go treasure hunting at garage sales and Value Village,
Loved growing her vegetable gardening as well as flower gardening. Her passion was house plants. Her favorite being African violets. She had 50 plants of varying kinds at the time she gave up her apartment. Flo assisted with election enumerations and voting poles. Volunteered at her children's school to assist with childhood vaccinations.
Flo was the family baker for all family events, She always baked multiple desserts to ensure everyone's favorite deserts were made for every event.
Flo's house was the hub of the family. Friends and family knew that they could always drop in for a visit, for tea and some of Flo’s tasty baked goods.
Everyone always returned to her place after a large family birthday dinner out at a restaurant, to celebrate with tea, cake and gifts opening afterwards.
She will be deeply missed.
