Eugene Harold Colley

Eugene Harold Colley age 72 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 30th, 2017 at his home in Scarborough, Ontario. After a courageous battle with cancer for 10 years with an abundance of faith in the lord, he was taken home.

Born in Halifax, N.S, he was the son of the late Thomas and Leota Colley. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Toronto for many years where he met his wife Denise. He was also a choir member and the church custodian.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Denise, son Daniel, stepdaughter Stephanie, and stepson Anthony. Brothers Alvin(Terry) Ontario, Cleveland(Dinah) Halifax, Leonard(Sue) Ontario, Phillip(Stephanie) Halifax, Wendell: Halifax, Joseph(Amanda) Halifax. Sisters, Viva (Deacon Burton) Halifax, Arvilla: Boston, Jacqueline: Ontario, Mary(Joel) Halifax, Cynthia (Madison) Halifax, Nicole: London Ontario and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was predeceased by sister Geretta, a sister in childbirth, Maternal grandparents Susan & Demus Smith, and Paternal grandparents Harriet & James Colley. Funeral arrangements were entrusted in the Care of Jerrett Funeral Home in Scarborough, Ont. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Funeral was held at Bethany Baptist Church.
