Mrs. Ella Helen Walker

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, nana and great grandmother Ella H. Walker at aged 90 on December 28, 2021 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Allan and siblings Maria (Mickie) Bialek and Joseph Kryzanowski. She is survived by her children Glenn Walker (Sharon) and Shelley Rousselle (Rome), her grandchildren Lindsay, Ryan and Taylor and her great granddaughters Ariya, Hadley and Blake.

Ella was born in Vanguard, Saskatchewan on April 20, 1931 and moved to Toronto at a young age and where she spent most of her life. Her last few years were spent in Brampton at the Maple Grove Community of Care. She was a long time employee of Lily Cups and Unilever. She loved to travel and was able to visit many countries around the world. She adored the many cats she had and is missed by Saucey.

The family extends our deepest thanks and gratitude to the staff at Maple Grove Community of Care in Brampton for their compassionate care of Ella. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

A visitation for Ella will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K 2B5. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Burial at Pine Hills immediately after the funeral service.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitation and funeral numbers are limited in the building at any given time to 30 people. All visitors must wear masks and contacting tracing will occur upon entry.
