The only child of George and Emma Trigg (pre-deceased). Loving wife of Lloyd Grant (pre-deceased) for over 60 years. Beloved mother of Mark (pre-deceased) (Debra) and Larry (Nancy). Grandmother to Jaimie Quilty and Drew Grant. Great-grandmother to Evelynn and Audrey Quilty.
Betty was a long-time member of St. Bede’s Anglican Church. Her hobbies included sewing, crafting, curling, and tending to her garden.
She had a love for travelling and will always be remembered for her caring nature towards family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the PSWs and nurses at the Peterborough Retirement home, along with the staff at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Arthritis Society.
A visitation for Betty will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at Stayner Union Cemetery in the spring.
