Elizabeth Diane Rose Carter

Passed away at home on Monday July 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Now joining her loving husband and best friend Len. They shared 59 wonderful years of marriage and a friendship of 65 years. Loving mother of David (Susanne), Brian (Dawn) and Rich (Nancy). Proud Granny of Daryn (Vicki), Corey (Tara), Laurel (Ira), Mike (Kelly), Audrey (Dani), Ethan and Maddy. GGMa to Walker, Benjamin and Jace. Betty will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Upon notification, several of her family members and friends commented that “Betty was the nicest person they have ever met”. Her family considers themselves to be the luckiest people to have had the honour to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cremation has occurred.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Institute for the Blind.
