Edgar Rigoberto Alvarado

Edgar nació el 11 de agosto de 1950 en la ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala, hijo de Rigoberto y Teresa (Ortega) Alvarado. El 3 de marzo de 1978, se casó con Dora Imelda Alvarado Flores. Comenzaron una familia con su primer paquete de alegría que lamentablemente falleció en la infancia Glenda Waleska y continuó criando a dos hijos, Edgar David y Marlon, y una hija menor, Imelda Marybel.

Edgar tenía pasión por la vida. También amaba la compañía de sus seres queridos, e hizo amigos donde quiera que fuera. También era un ávido amante de la música y le gustaba mostrar sus talentos vocales. Era conocido por su ingenio rápido, su sonrisa contagiosa y su espíritu amable y compasivo.

Edgar Rigoberto Alvarado fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Rigoberto, su madre, Teresa y su hermana, Mary. Le sobreviven su esposa Dora, sus hijos, David, Marlon (Melisa) e Imelda (Kevin), sus nietos, hermanos y varios primos, sobrinas y sobrinos. Se realizará una visita el martes 14 de julio de 2020 de 3:00 pm a 6:00 pm. y el funeral se llevará a cabo el miércoles 15 de julio de 2020 en la funeraria Jerrett Funeral en 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, Ontario M1K 2B5 a la 1 p.m. Se pueden enviar flores o donaciones a la funeraria.

On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, Edgar Rigoberto Alvarado Ortega, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at age 69.

Edgar was born on August 11, 1950 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Rigoberto and Teresa (Ortega) Alvarado. On March 3rd, 1978, he married Dora Imelda Alvarado Flores. They started a family with their first bundle of joy whom sadly passed at infancy Glenda Waleska and continued to raise two sons, Edgar David and Marlon, and a younger daughter, Imelda Marybel.

Edgar had a passion for life. He also loved the company of his loved ones, and made friends everywhere he went. He was also an avid music lover and liked to show off his vocal talents. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Edgar Rigoberto Alvarado was preceded in death by his father, Rigoberto, his mother, Teresa and his sister, Mary. He is survived by his wife Dora, his children, David, Marlon (Melisa), and Imelda (Kevin), his grandchildren, siblings, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. and a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 at the Jerrett Funeral Home at 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, Ontario M1K 2B5 at 1 o’clock p.m. Flowers or donations may be sent to funeral home.
