Cynthia Rose Wright

Cynthia is survived by her 6 children Jennifer Harrison (nee Wright), Winsome Wright, Ivan Wright Jr. (Wife Pauline), Rosemarie Wright, George Wright, and Donovan Wright (Wife Sylvie), 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her 4 siblings and many extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and 4 siblings.

Cynthia was born in Jamaica and immigrated to Canada in the 1970’s. She had varied roles throughout her life but most important was that of a mother. She was a devoted mother who always put her children first. During her final career, as a Personal Support Worker, she gave of herself generously and selflessly for those in her care. Her kindness and compassion touched all those who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 24, 2023 at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street in North York from 4-8 pm. A brief visitation will also be held on Saturday February 25, 2023 from 9-10 am before her funeral service at 10 am. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery 7241 Jane Street in Concord. Repass will be held at the JCA (Jamaica Canadian Association) 995 Arrow Road in North York.
