Our heartfelt sympathy to the Simone family at this sad time.

We cherish the memories of the good old days when time was spent with “Lou Cumpar” Costantino at family and friend gatherings with lots of good food, drinks, dancing and singing and everyone having a fun time.

May He Rest in Peace along with my dad and good friend Tommaso as they reunite again.


I am filled with deep sadness with the passing of my Zio Costantino.  He was such an amazing man.  I will never forget the day my mom got the phone call that he was injured. I was very young, but I knew something horrible had happened.  The whole house held its breath until day after day there was a little more hope.  We all prayed.  
I think our prayers were heard loud and clear. He not only defied death at that time, but a few more times.  He seemed to me, to be a superhero.  He was so strong.  I was amazed.
He seemed to live his life, with laughter and with love. It is so obvious when looking at the photos that your mom loved him deeply.  There is rarely a photo that she doesn't have her arm around him.  
He was stern, and he was about the only person who could ever get the last word in with an argument with my father.  I remember they could clear a room when arguing as they were so loud. I miss that.  Heaven just got a lot louder as I am certain my dad was there to meet him at the gates. 
My deepest condolences to you and your families.  May you all find comfort and peace in the knowledge that he is at rest.

We very much enjoyed the slide show.  Lot's of great memories!  It really shows how Zio Costantino enjoyed life to the fullest.  Our heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the entire family. Praying that God will bless you and give you strength for tomorrow. My name is Anna.  Oldest daughter to Camilo and Rosalina Simone.  
I would like to express to you my sincerest sympathy for your loss. 
I remember your father when l was a teenager and he would visit my parents.     
Now they are both resting in peace. 
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.  


It is with heartfelt sympathy that I write this note. Costantino Simone, my uncle, Zio, known in my house as ‘my uncle with the farm’. Growing up, he was my uncle who lived the closest to us, in the house that often smelled like cheese.  He was the uncle who could get the last word with my dad. The one who we were always with when the Leafs and Sabres played so the two brothers could  argue, tongue in cheek, so loud to the end.
Every year, on May 4th, I’ll raise my glass to him.

Mr. Costantino Simone lived a long and interesting life.  It is very important for your family to cherish the many happy memories that your family has shared together and to celebrate a life well lived.  We don't know what to say.  We can't understand exactly how you feel, but God does and will keep raising you up.  We hope that our prayers will help a little.
