Cheryl Duggan

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beautiful and vibrant mother and grandmother, known as Mimi, 56, of Scarborough, Ontario. Cheryl peacefully passed away on August 28, 2022 from lung cancer. Cheryl was born on March 10, 1966 in Ajax, Ontario and had many fond memories of being on the orchard. She is at rest, reunited with her brother David.

Cheryl was very involved in her community in many ways. She graciously organized a weekly food bank on Gilder for low income families and did a lot of advocacy work for other tenants in TCHC.

Cheryl was deeply respected in the community as she made a tremendous impact in so many people’s lives. She will also be remembered for her love and passion for photography and was featured in many publications and art galleries in Toronto.

Our creative, kind and generous, Mimi, will be remembered for her beautiful bright smile, her sweet laugh and kind nature. Cheryl touched countless lives and she will be truly missed by her family, friends and many others that she met over her amazing journey through life.

Cheryl leaves behind her children: Josh (Megan) and Sophie; grandchildren: Jayden, Cashius and Madeline; spare parents: Steve and Janice.
