Passed away suddenly on Tuesday April 13, 2010. Vern was born in Toronto December 25, 1926. Reunited in heaven with his living wife Anne-Margret. Cherished by his dear son Paul (Linda). Proud Grandpa of Rachel, Taryn, Jessica and Cheryl and great-grandfather to Joshua and Aryanna. Survived by his sister Mae Milward, and brother-in-law to James Bowler and sister- in- law Helen Bowler. Vern will be held in the hearts of nieces Helen, Cora, Theresa, relatives and friends. A special thank you to the Toronto Police and Toronto Fire Department for all their help.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.) on Monday April 19, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral service will take place Tuesday April 20, 2010 at 10am in the Jerrett Funeral Home Chapel. Vern will be laid to rest at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Lane, North York).
