Carlos Lopes was born on March 18, 1978 in Valpaços, Vila Real, Portugal and passed away on February 11, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 44 years.
Carlos has been reunited with his son Daniel Lopes.
He is the beloved husband to Guida Afonso.
He is the loving Father of Natalie Lopes and Sarina Pereira.
Cherished brother of João Lopes, Candido Lopes, and Mario Lopes.
Carlos will also be dearly missed by his fur babies. Their dog, Cookie Lopes, and their pet parrot, Toy Lopes.
He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 4:00pm – 8:30pm PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend the visitation or the funeral service, however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so.
The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Church at 10:00am (On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church arriving 15 minutes prior to the service, this will allow the family some private time prior to the service.
Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
