Dear Kerry and Family,
Your brother’s  memory will forever live on in the stories, laughter, and love you shared. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Brent Galardo. Brent was not just a manager or a colleague to me; he was a mentor, a guide, and a father figure who left an indelible mark on my life.

From the moment I started at Hudson’s Bay under his wing, Brent was more than a boss—he instilled in me the values of strength, courage, and the importance of voicing one’s opinions. His encouragement to speak up has stayed with me, shaping the way I approach challenges.

Brent’s zest for life extended beyond the office walls. His love for golf not only introduced me to the sport but also gave us memorable moments of shared camaraderie on the driving range, making our Fridays brighter.

His diverse knowledge was remarkable; he not only imparted wisdom about work but also shared insights into areas like beer varieties, expanding my horizons in unexpected ways.

One of the things I cherished most about Brent was his inventive spirit. His imaginative mind led us to discuss the “Brent Butt device,” a project blending humor and innovation to capture potential fuel from cow emissions—a testament to his creative thinking and lighthearted approach to life.

Brent’s laughter and infectious energy made even the most mundane days feel like celebrations. His absence will create a void that cannot be filled.

I will forever be grateful for his unwavering support through my ups and downs, his guidance in both professional and personal matters. 

He was more than a colleague; he was family. Brent Galardo’s legacy of kindness, humor, and wisdom will continue to resonate within me, shaping the person I am today.

My deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones. May they find comfort in the cherished memories and the enduring impact Brent had on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

Brent my "Little" brother, that I was able to "Mother" with our real Mom, because I was the right age and wanting to help.
We kept in touch much of our lives even if Brent lived in Toronto area, and myself i Sudbury. We both had birthdays in October and we would find the craziest cards we could find mail to each other with a small gift each year.We had a lot of fun doing it. Never knew what you were going to get. We also kept in touch with letters and 'phone calls.
Anne and Brent had a little girl and her mother that lived in the same building. They sounded like they loved every moment with "their" little girl & Mom. So glad they had the opportunity. 
Brent and Anne were going to come up to Sudbury, but he said that a hernia that had to be fixed first and the trip would wait for spring. It was interesting that we both ended up in hospital at the same time. I am still fighting blood clots in my lungs, and have to take it easy. I wish I was feeling better, but this is from the heart and the best I can do for now. 
As Helen Steiner Rice couldn't have said it better when she wrote, "Memories are a Treasure time can't take away".

I will miss his good humour and determination.

My deepest condolences to his wife and his family. Brent trained me to become a volunteer at the WCH cardiology department and I still remember every minute of that day as I met him once. It was a great shock for me to hear that he passed away. He was very kind and supportive leader of the team. One thing that I will never forget, he told me to find something joyful in my life as he did find one which was golfing with his wife Anne.

You will be truly missed Brent. I recently recollected your advice given in 2011 which I applied in 2023. You will remain in my memories and prayers. Rest in Peace.. ! You will be truly missed..

Although I haven't seen Brent in 30+ years, he was one of my closest friends growing up.  We lived across the street from each other in Sudbury.  I have great memories of playing in the 'mountains' beside our street, playing basketball on his backyard court, digging out cars that were completely buried after one of the epic snowstorms we used to get.  Happy days and fond memories of all the Galardos.  Brent always had a smile and a great laugh.  We grew apart during high-school but reconnected at the U of Windsor.  And then again in Toronto after I spent 10 years in Alberta.  He never stopped being a good friend.  My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Brent's wife and family.   Rest in peace Brent, you are dearly missed.  I can see you smiling at us all.

I just can’t find the words to say how much I’m going to miss you, Brent. You were an amazing boss and a better friend.  So many great memories.  My life is better for having known you.  Anne, I’m so sorry for your loss. He loved you so very much.

Brent was a integral part of our Cardiology Team.  His kind approach to patients, staff and other volunteers, was so appropriated.  He was a wonderful man and he will be forever missed.

I have sat staring repeatedly at this blank space trying to pull together a few words to express my sadness and shock over the news of Brent's passing. My fondest memories go back to our teen years when Brent and I spent a lot of time together. These were great years filled with special memories. Whenever you were with Brent, something wacky was going to happen. His unique sense of humour kept everyone on their toes - you never knew what was coming! Though life allowed us to drift apart, I will always treasure the time I spent with my cousin. I will miss him.
