June 24, 1966 – February 8, 2024
Age 57.
Barry, sadly passed away on Thursday 8th February 2024 after a long illness. His courage and dignity to the end will forever be remembered. Barry was the devoted and loving partner to Kimberley, whose love, care, and unwavering attention helped him to make the most of his remaining time on earth. He was a father to 2 beautiful and talented daughters Orlagh and Aoife, loving son to Frances and the late Noel McMahon RIP (Belfast), brother to Helen, Damian, Paul, Colette, Eunice & Adrian, uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed by all and especially his friends in Toronto whom he called his Canadian Family, and to his childhood friends in Belfast.
A keen fisherman he loved camping and the outdoors, he was a fabulous cook and baker, a great listener, and a true friend. When you had Barry as your friend, you had a friend for life. Barry loved to travel, he worked hard and played hard. Sadly, as much as he tried, he could not hold on to see his team the Kansas City Chiefs play at the Super Bowl, but we know he was supporting them from afar and he would have been delighted that they won.
