Barkev Basmadjian passed away peacefully with family at his side on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
He is survived by his children Emma (James), Peter (Anne-Marie), Kamer (Cynthia), and Jessica (Victor), his grandchildren Kamee (Spencer), Robert (Aysha), Markus, and Lucas and his great grandchild Saana, along with the entire Basmajian (Basmadjian), Sarian, Dournayan, and Avedissian families.
Visitation will be held on Friday November 22, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Armenian Church 45 Hallcrown Place in Toronto. Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Barkev will be laid to rest at York Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be considered to St. Mary's Armenian Church or Homenetmen Toronto or ARS "Roubina" Chapter.
