Avril Mary Pogue

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years Bill Pogue there 4 children William Kenneth, Steven and Linda Pogue. Her grandchildren Isabelle Pogue and Brittany Avril Harper and great grandchild Atlas Avril. As well other numerous relatives and friends and pepper her chihuahua.

Avril was born in Howwood Scotland on April 10 1945 to Elizabeth Mary and Robert Smith. She was the youngest of 13 children. Avril came to Toronto Canada at the age of 16, at 18 she married the love of her life Bill Pogue. Avril loved reading and also loved long walks especially in the beaches where she spent the remainder of her life. Her dedication to her husband and her children go unmatched. She never did forget her Scottish background she would call her husband my wee man and her boys my wee boys. Avril was a special woman who loved children through her daycare work but also how she just loved her family deeply.

Avril always put her family first. Her love of family and her strength of character is an inspiration to each of us. Not a day will go by that your not in our hearts and thoughts.
