Annunziato “Jimmy” Sorbara was born on January 23, 1931 in Morgeto, San Giorgio, Italy and passed away surrounded by his loving family on September 24, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 92 years.
He has been reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife Annunziata “Nancy” Sorbara. He is also joining in Heaven his dear parents Michele and Carmela and his siblings Salvatore (Katarina), Vincenzo (Concetta), Michele (Concetta) Katarina (Tony) and Maria (Nicola).
Loving father of Carmela, Vicky (Vince), Lucie (George), and Mirella (Danny). Cherished Nonno of Justine (Michael), Andrew, Matthew (Vanessa), Rudy, Angela and devoted Bisnonno of Carina. Annunziato will be dearly missed by his surviving siblings Vincenza (George), Angelo (Maria), Nancy (Frank) and his many nieces, nephews and their families. He will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Annunziato “Jimmy” Sorbara be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
