Angela Presta

April 11, 1970 - January 4, 2013

In honour of Angela Presta, who was taken away from us too soon, at 42 years of age, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Loving and caring daughter of Alfredo and AnnaMaria (née Degli Angeli) Presta, and cherished sister of Maria Presta. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Salvatore and Maria Antonietta (née Pietramala) Degli Angeli, Salvatore and Maria (Née Pasqua) Presta, and her beloved uncle Francesco Antonio Degli Angeli.

Angela was a very talented and dedicated Italian Instructor, and was passionate about every aspect of the Italian language, literature, and culture. She was a hard worker, and in 2009, obtained her B.Ed. from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Her determination in life was contagious.

Family and tradition were always at the top of Angela's list. Cooking, baking, beading, sewing, gardening, sketching, working on the computer, and shopping for shoes, bags and clothes were among some of the past times she enjoyed. She was adored by the three family pets she had throughout her life. Angela collected angels, and periodically added a new angelic item to her compilation.

Angela will be dearly missed by her family, friends, neightbours colleagues, students and her 19-month old puppy, Batuffolo. You will remain in our hearts forever.
