Amalia da Silva

Amalia da Silva was born on February 6, 1953 in Feteira, Portugal and passed away on April 28, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 70 years young.

She will be missed dearly by her husband, Antonio da Silva of 47 years.

Loving mother of Semantha (Matthew) and Jessica (Ian).

Devoted vovo to Amelia, Madeline, Malaki, and Mikayla.

Amalia leaves behind her sisters and their husbands, Mariana (Joao), Anabela (Nuno), and Tilia (Sebastian).

She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, godchildren, her aunt Ema, uncle Antonio Jose and their families.

She will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Clare’s Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W.

PLEASE NOTE: On the morning of the Mass, we would ask that all friends go directly to the church allowing the family some private time prior to the service.

Entombment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Memory of Amalia da Silva be made to the Princess Margaret Foundation.

PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend indoor funeral services, for those that feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so.
