Aida Maria Andrade Furtado Barbosa (nee Sebastiao) was born on June 3, 1958 in Almagreira, Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal. She passed away after a courageous battle with cancer with her loving family by her side on December 6, 2024 in Toronto at the young age of 66 years.
She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Joaõ Barbosa (2015), her beloved father Joaõ Sebastiao (2013).
Loving Mother of Marisol (Tony Da Silva), Kevin and Marilyn Barbosa (Conway Henry). Cherished Avó of Justin, Caitlyn (Alex), Savannah, Jazmin, Malakye, Serenity, Essence and Julian. She will be deeply missed by her beloved mother, Albertina, her 2nd husband Joaquim Da Silva as well as her brothers, sisters and their families.
Aida was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. She was loved for her kindness and heart of gold. Those who knew Aida, knew she would always put others before herself. Aida would want others to carry on her legacy of helping others.
